 Is there something brewing in our drag community at the moment? I’m seeing the names of Monte Diamonte, Barbra Quicksand and Nova China teaming up together for a bit of campery at venues around town including the Belgravia Hotel in Footscray, and now I see they’re getting into the James Bond mood and taking over the Martini Lounge in Carlton: the good old Dream Nightclub, or Hellfire for those who can remember that far back! ‘Shaken & Not Stirred’ is the new Sunday night adventure to shake up the Northside, with doors opening at 8pm and three drag shows from 10:30pm. They’re offering prizes, giveaways and cheap drink specials; and with this line-up of talent, it’s destined to be a camp and crazy night!
SHAKEN & NOT STIRRED @ The Martini Lounge, 229 Queensberry St, Carlton, Sundays 8pm-late.
