p15_scene_agenda_image5-250.jpgMark Robinson (Xchange, Market, Greyhound, Peel)

Some DJs build a strong profile in this business before they’re old enough to actually be in a nightclub. For Mark, it was simply a matter of rocking Minus18 events time and time again. Those younger kids know a good DJ when they hear one, and thus his popularity and his great button-pushing skills have earned him regular gigs in Melbourne’s over-18 venues. Minus will miss you, Mark!

Age: 25
Musical Style: Commercial pop and handbag
First Gig: Minus18 in 2002
Forthcoming Gig/Event: Thursday s at Xchange, Saturdays vary between the Peel and the Greyhound; and Friday September 26 at the Market’s ‘Grind’.
Favourite Club/Event: I really love ‘Grind’ at the Market.
Who/What Pushes Your Buttons: Good push – anything by Freemasons.
Bad push – clearing the dance floor during an anthem!
