I’ve mentioned the Bendigo Hotel in a previous column and highlighted the fact that we have a great new live venue on our gay and lesbian social calendar, but now there’s even more reason to go and check it out for yourself!

The first Saturday of each month sees the live entertainment boil over in a theme night called ‘Party 4 No Reason’, which this Saturday features ‘Sister Act’, and the vocal delights of Michelle Parsons and Anna Tirotta. There’s even an early Happy Hour from 6:30-7:30pm to get the vocal cords warmed up. Then on the second and forth Saturdays of the month, the girls take over with She Bar, a girls only night with DJ Trish and an Open Mic. It’s all about live action at the Bendigo Hotel - and good old-fashioned pub meals for lunch and dinner!
