Melbourne’s favourite bear haven has a lot on offer over the coming months, and plenty of ideas to keep the chills away. As well as the latest ‘Listen Up’ alternative party this Saturday August 16, another date to pop into your diary is Saturday August 23, as the Laird Hotel and Pleasure Island present ‘Now & Then’, a classic house and disco T-Dance for furry men and their friends. Ok, the fur isn’t compulsory, but it makes for a whole lot more fun! Expect a room full of sexy men shimmying to the sounds of DJs Jayson Leahy, Kon and Phill Mezza (pictured). It all kicks off at 6pm: an early night to raise funds for VicBears and the Michael Masters Fund. Expect to see some familiar old faces who only surface for special events, as this event will be very special indeed!
