So… have we all worked out where we can and can’t go after 2am in Melbourne? Thankfully, Commercial Road has been spared from any last minute dashes through the venues’ front doors before lockout, as all our favourite stomping grounds have met the exemption conditions to ensure we can continue to club-hop throughout the night. But with the brilliant line up of guest DJs at The Market for Friday nights’ ‘Grind’, why would you want to leave? From 1am each week you can enjoy the sounds of local and international deck spinners. This week, DJ Kista gets to work her musical magic, followed by everyone’s favourite DJ chick, KDJ on Friday June 27. Keep Friday July 25 free for my return with the launch of my new CD, Live @ The Market, while Friday August 1 sees Alan Thompson take control. A grinding good winter at The Market!
