With so many things on offer this Melbourne Cup long weekend it’s going to be hard to choose just what tickles everyone’s fancy.

Something rather camp and different to pencil in to the diary is CAMPaign Cabinet in the city. They’re offering free entry, $10 CAMPtinis (I’m guessing this is a form of gay martini) and some live acoustic delights from Chantal and Dan.

The night is titled ‘All The Queens Horses’ and kicks off 6pm Saturday with a dress style straight from the track! There’s even a “best fashions on field” contest that could spring up some handy hat ideas for Tuesday’s big race day!

So grab that stallion and pop in for a pre-party drink. But I’d call and book first if you’re hoping for front row seats!
