 When you clearly have the best venue on Melbourne’s
gay scene, making a change to the formula is something that requires a careful
plan. The success of the new Friday Night ‘Grind’ DJ times was obviously a
smart move, as the crowds are arriving early to catch their favourite music
spinners and performance artists. Next Friday, Miss Eleni takes control from
1am, before my return to the decks
for a fun-filled night on May 2. I can’t wait! Until then, there’s more
‘Manoeuvres’, with a huge Anzac Eve party planned complete with a ‘Boot Camp’
floor show at 3am, and Drill Sergeant DJs, James Fraser, KDJ and Peter
McNamara! Happy 50th birthday to Market lighting guru, Rob Lawry, who’s
requested a special 21 gun salute over the lighting box at midnight!
