Rainbow Dreaming tribute
Written by Andrew Shaw

Indigenous artist David Dunn was inspired by the Spring Migration festival in north-east Victoria to do the series of paintings called Rainbow Dreaming.

Dunn lives in Wodonga, You can see his work on the Spring Migration website. According to festival organiser Gary Hayward (pictured, with Dunn) the artist was drawn to do the paintings “because Aboriginal Australians can identify with the gay communities, as over the years they too have been treated like all GLBTI people.”

David is an amazing Aboriginal artist, these works are a first for an Aboriginal artist in Australia thus creating gay history in Australia http://donebydunnart08.bravehost.com/
