Homegrown Melbourne performers are taking the world by storm at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with both The Sound of Music Drag Show and Seriously: Pet Shop Boys Reinterpreted (pictured with Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant) receiving rave reviews.
Seriously has received five star reviews in both the Edinburgh Evening News and Sunday Express newspaper, while Time Out has acclaimed it as one of the “must-see shows of the festival”. Similarly, The Sound of Music Drag Show was billed as ‘Queens of the Festival’ on the cover of The Scotsman newspaper’s festival guide, and has topped ticket sales at their venue, The Guilded Ballroom.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the largest festival of its type in the world, and runs until August 27.
