Jake tops hottest male poll

Jake feels Heath's heat.

A gay entertainment website’s list of men its readers find sexually attractive has a heterosexual as the 'most wanted'.

But while Jake Gyllenhaal was the top choice, himself the star of iconic gay movie Brokeback Mountain, those joining him in the top slots of the "Hot 100″ list have something in common: they are out and proud.

UK-based actor John Barrowman is named number two, and he is joined by newly de-closeted Brothers & Sisters actor Luke MacFarlane and Neil Patrick Harris of How I Met Your Mother and Doogie Howser fame.

The top five is completed by Cheyenne Jackson, whose half-Native American looks make him a favourite with American readers of AfterElton.com.

CNN news presenter Anderson Cooper made it into the top ten this year for the first time, after he was "outed" by Out magazine.
