Hot on the heels of relocating to Bourke Street’s City
Village complex alongside the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and Gay and
Lesbian Switchboard, the ALSO Foundation this week launched a brand new visual
identity.
Designed by
creative team Cheeky Pup (who donated their services) the new logo, which
includes the tag line ‘for all of us’, symbolizes equality, togetherness and
belonging, as well as conveying a nurturing relationship.
It replaces
the organization’s previous logo, which was 27 years old.
“The
warmth with which this new presence has been greeted underscores the need for
ALSO to keep growing and communicate effectively across our whole community,”
ALSO president Neil Paterson said in a statement on Tuesday.
