Introduced gradually to the public in a very Ben Folds-like three EP manner, Jason’s third album is probably his best yet. And that’s a big something for a San Diegian busker with a string of successes already tucked into his belt.

Jason has come of age, maturing musically into a marvellous songwriter who’s aware of the counterbalance that melody plays with rhythm, and that the lyrics enjoy against the delivery. But that’s the true mark of a singer songwriter; it’s all about the total package. And if the jock shot that made it onto Jason’s blog last week is anything to go by, his lunch is packed! One for the kids that dig unaffected pop songs.
