That wacky, lo-fi electro duo from the UK launch a new aural attack with the release of the third single from We Started Nothing. In its radio format, ‘Shut Up and Let Me Go’ is an attitude-heavy, white girl rap with a plodding beat and a sizzling synth bridge. The track comes into its own (with a chorus line like that, it’d be hard not to have some fun) on the remix schedule. There’s hollow house with Classixx; two panic attack-inducing, anxiety-ridden mixes from Johnny Vicious and Tocadisco; and my favourite, the Daft Punk-like robotic marching mix from Chris Lake. It goes around and around and around and around, around and around and around and aroooound.
