Touted by the British media as the next big thing in girl groups, this group of girls ain’t really all much different from that other group, Girls Aloud.

So much so in fact, that The Saturdays are touring with the GAs to jump on their all-singing, all-dancing bandwagon, snuggling up to the exact same audience in a canny move for everyone concerned. As to their debut single, it follows a well-trodden Sugababes path by incorporating a nifty 80s synth riff from none other than electro gods, Yazoo. So, instantly, the gays are hooked, and that’s half the battle, eh?

Add in lots of good hair, shiny makeup, swaying as dancing, walking to camera, gun barrel stares and matching frocks, and you’ve got a pop sensation in the making.
