Clubbers guide Spring 2008
musicclubbers-250.jpgCLUBBERS GUIDE SPRING 2008—VARIOUS [UMA]
Can I just say that I’m so pleased that spring has sprung? This winter has sure been a killer to those of us unused to the real Melbourne seasons. So what better way to shed that sensible winter spare tyre than by shaking your generous booty to the latest sounds of the global disco industry?
Expat Groove Terminator makes a welcome return to our shores, sinking his chompers into the first CD, and I’m overjoyed to see a healthy inclusion of Aussie artistes like Cut Copy, P’nau, Lovers Electric and The Potbelleez, all clad in glossy remix attire of course. Then there’s the nifty stuff from The Black Ghosts, Chromeo, Little Boots and Super Mal. Part Two comes from Raye Antonelli and is so nasty the kilograms will drop faster than gram bags at a Tasty raid. His line-up includes The Martin Brothers, HiJack, Benny Benassi and the essential sluttery from Fedde Le Grande. And I didn’t even mention the typo on the sleeve.
