Justice for Justice Kirby

We would like to ask other MCV readers to consider nominating Justice Michael Kirby for the Australian of the Year Awards.

Every time he speaks, he increases understanding and acceptance of GLBTI issues - and when he speaks on other issues, such as the environment, immigration, discrimination, equality and so on, he certainly fulfils the criteria of the awards, which “recognise outstanding and inspirational Australians in all fields of endeavour who make our nation a better place to live”.

Take the time to visit the website at www.australianoftheyear.org.au and make 2009 the year that we thank Justice Michael Kirby for everything he does for us every day.

Stephen and Adam, Moreland West
