Ex-gays and ex-ex-gays (2)
A recent report from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences has shown that yes, you are born gay. The brains of heterosexual men and gay women have a larger right side, whereas gay men and heterosexual females have halves of the same size. This process is developed inside the womb, not developed outside of it as The Salt Shakers’ Peter Stokes would probably hope.

Also, your Bible isn’t exactly the best source of information, Peter. It says that bats are birds, insects can have four legs, you cannot eat shellfish or pork, rape victims can be stoned to death if they don’t cry out loud enough, and mixed fabrics are a no-no. According to the Biblical Book of Romans, all sins are equal in the eyes of God, so if you’re going to pick on us, we might as well pick on you for wearing cotton polyester pants.

Conversion therapy does not work so well. Many either come out worse than before (and can become suicidal) or relapse. Not many ‘become straight’. Quit denying us the right to pursue happiness, and for the love of God, read your Bible and actually make an attempt to be like Christ.

I am all for Freedom Of Speech, what would QUEER'S be without it (Peter Stokes?). But "Mr" Stoke's puerile ramblings are an example of why some people should be shot, Freedom Of Speech. It's just not a good example to the young and lovely youth of our town. I do wonder though if when Peter is looking in MCV for the Letter's page does he read the articles and ads also: maybe getting titilated. I'd like to suggest an Homage to him in "Gayville".
