This is a very good book. While the idea of eliminating "sex slavery" is admirable and I commend Kathy for trying to uplift this issue. Fact is, it's been going on for so long, and poverty being the grinding force that it is, will continue to force many Asian women to seek out foreign nationals (men) for economic survival. The first law of nature is, self preservation, and these women have to sustain themselves. Life is a long journey, wrought with social challenges.

But for the price of $20.00 US dollars, this book is very good and tells a chilling yet on-going story of how and why Asian women are treated badly. I'm hoping "Trafficked" will make the best sellers list, and that more attention will be focused on sex slavery and it's elimination in these Asian communities.

In closing, I remember hearing about the "The Area" more than twenty years ago. Perhaps the education that's provided in this book will allow it to be known as something other than a good place to pick up a prostitute.
