 Melbourne ensemble Ranters Theatre return with their critically acclaimed exploration of the minutia of human interaction and a meditation on the ordinariness of things, Holiday. This is the first mainstage production for this acclaimed production, which swept this year’s Green Room Awards, including Best Production and Best New Australian Writing.
From the bar to the chaise lounge, we witness the journey of two men’s simple complexities, observations and musings on it all. Holiday exposes the hidden anxieties, private fantasies, boredom, personal mythologies, and the strange, inexplicable behaviour between two people ‘simply’ trying to relax.
