Firmly in the sights of this devilishly clever duo are those desperate and deluded individuals who bare their souls on stage at the expense of the paying public: the middle-class girl from Kew whose ‘erotic cabaret’ makes a Gorillagram look sexy; the depressed housewife who does clowning as therapy; the illiterate footballer turned motivational speaker; postmodern pornographers and queer performance artists…are all grist for the mill of no mercy.
